Attorney - Birth Injury

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Attorney specializing in birth injury cases to represent clients in legal proceedings and to provide expert legal advice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medical malpractice law, particularly in the context of childbirth, and will be committed to advocating for justice on behalf of affected families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in cases involving birth injuries due to medical negligence.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs and pleadings.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their case details and provide regular updates.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including delivering opening and closing statements.
  • Stay updated on developments in birth injury litigation and medical malpractice law.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in birth injury cases.
  • Strong analytical and research skills related to legal cases.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
