Tax Manager
Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for our clients, ensuring adherence to all tax laws and regulations while providing strategic advice to optimize tax positions. This role is crucial in managing relationships with clients and delivering high-quality service in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals (HNW) and corporations, including S-Corporations and C-Corporations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
- Provide expert advice on tax laws and regulations to clients, ensuring they are informed of changes that may affect their tax position.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns and financial statements.
- Coordinate tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and support in tax matters.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their business and individual tax needs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management or related field, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and corporate taxation.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, especially related to S-Corporations and C-Corporations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
