With over 100 years in business, we are a reputable provider of gas and fluid control components for industrial and specialty gas systems. With locations in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, we are the only North American cylinder valve manufacturer. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our growing team.

Who you are:

2+ years of quality experience in manufacturing
Bachelors degree in engineering or similar discipline preferred
Experience with ISO 9001
Experience in medical devices and/or gas control equipment is preferable
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
Must understand shop floor control and be customer service oriented
Use of traditional inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers etc.)
QAD knowledge a plus

What you will be doing:

Interact with Manufacturing, Design and Engineering teams to define and substantiate quality issues and concerns and provide support in process development.
Support suppliers on standards and policies set forth in the Quality System Requirement Manual.
Develop product/part inspection plans.
Conduct or assist first article inspections using traditional inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers etc.).
Interact with Manufacturing and Engineering to assist in the development of product work instructions.
Lead and communicate manufacturing variance reporting (MVR), to support production, engineering and quality in processing of non-conforming product and materials.
Lead corrective action process internal and external. Assure timely communication to all parties both external and internal.
Lead customer (RGA) and supplier (RTV) return process provide communication to all parties both external and internal.
Provide support for implementation of capital equipment including run off validations
Conduct internal audits including quality system audits, product, and process audits.
