Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient production operations. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and practices, as well as familiarity with ERP systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Conduct analysis and problem-solving to improve product quality and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize production workflows.
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential process risks and mitigation strategies.
Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Provide technical support and training to production staff on manufacturing best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFM, and PFMEA methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
