Paralegal - Probate

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal specializing in Probate to assist our legal team in managing estate-related matters. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in drafting documents, communicating with clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant probate laws, while providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of probate documents and court forms.
  • Draft legal documents related to estate planning and probate matters.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status.
  • Conduct research on probate laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage case files and maintain organization of documentation throughout the probate process.
  • Prepare summaries and reports for attorneys regarding case status and developments.
  • Facilitate client interactions and meetings, ensuring a high level of service and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Experience in probate law or estate planning is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and understanding of estate-related terminology.
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with WealthCounsel or similar legal software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
