Headquartered in Houston Texas, we are looking for someone out of our Ponca City, Oklahoma location. We specialize in our soot/graphite! We have made our way to over 15 countries and are continuing to grow and expand all over the world! We service markets in industrial rubber, tire rubber, and any specialty carbon!

Position Overview
The Production Manager/Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing operations within our chemical production facility. This role is critical in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will lead a team, optimize production processes, and collaborate with various departments to drive efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to optimize workflow and meet sales forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Lead quality control initiatives to ensure that all products meet established standards and specifications.
  • Identify and implement process improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency.
  • Coordinate logistics and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor and analyze profit and loss statements to drive financial performance and cost management.
  • Foster positive labor relations and manage workforce issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision within the chemical industry.
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance regulations and quality control processes.
  • Proven experience in scheduling, equipment maintenance, and logistics coordination.
  • Demonstrated skills in process improvement and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and manage profit and loss.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
