Tax Senior

Position Overview
The Tax Senior will play a critical role in managing and executing tax compliance and planning for our clients, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector. This position requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles, along with the ability to provide strategic tax advice to enhance client operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Conduct tax research and analysis to support compliance and planning initiatives
Assist clients in navigating oil and gas tax regulations and incentives
Collaborate with clients to identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects
Mentor and train junior staff on tax processes and best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Active CPA license is required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
Experience with oil and gas taxation is a plus
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
