Position Overview
We one of the nation's leading independent insurance comparison sites. We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage our financial reporting and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with GAAP standards, facilitate month-end close activities, and provide insights for financial decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that align with GAAP
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting capabilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
