Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This position is essential for supporting the financial health of our HVAC and plumbing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions
Oversee the monthly close process and ensure timely reporting
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for construction and HVAC projects
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or HVAC industry
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Strong experience with general ledger operations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
