Title: VP of Manufacturing - FOOD/BEVERAGE/CPG
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268
Salary: $200,000-$210,000 + BONUS + RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

What You Will Be Doing:
Develop and execute a forward-thinking manufacturing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. Drive innovation in manufacturing processes to ensure scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency. Work closely with senior leadership to align manufacturing capabilities with the company's growth goals and market demands.
Oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure streamlined processes, high-quality standards, and maximum efficiency. Lead the implementation of best practices, optimize production lines, and continually assess operations to drive improvements in productivity and cost reductions. Maintain a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Lead efforts to optimize production capacity and ensure timely, high-quality product delivery. Focus on improving throughput, reducing downtime, and ensuring the manufacturing process supports the company's product portfolio and growth plans. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure the efficient sourcing of raw materials, production, and timely delivery. Develop and implement strategies to strengthen supplier relationships, streamline inventory management, and reduce lead times while maintaining product quality and production schedules.
Identify and implement innovative manufacturing technologies and processes that drive cost savings, increase product quality, and enhance the customer experience. Work to develop new manufacturing capabilities that can open up new revenue streams and market opportunities for the company.
Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Attract, retain, and develop top talent in manufacturing, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and resources to execute the company's manufacturing strategy effectively.
Oversee the manufacturing budget and ensure efficient use of resources. Work closely with the finance team to establish cost targets, track financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Ensure the manufacturing operations are aligned with financial objectives and deliver profitability without compromising quality.
Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and meet all regulatory requirements. Lead efforts to establish quality assurance protocols, mitigate production risks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical manufacturing practices.
Proactively identify risks to manufacturing operations, including supply chain disruptions, equipment failures, and regulatory changes. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies while driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize operational risks.
Work collaboratively with R&D, product development, and marketing teams to ensure that manufacturing capabilities align with product innovation, demand forecasting, and market needs. Drive alignment between departments to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing strategies and initiatives.
